It's been warm..........

Upper 90's for the past few weeks; it has been warm and it is hard to be outside; for me anyway.  And double if you need to work in it.  My tall phlox are all in bloom.   Lot's of color still in my yard.

Happy Trails from me......July 24th..

My last day with Washington Federal was this last Thursday, the 24th.  I won't miss the work as much as I will miss seeing all of the girls faces that I have worked with for so long.   I have heard the saying "I won't miss the circus but I will miss all of the clowns".  It is so very true.

On to the next chapter of our lives.

Our annual Maupin campout/float was fun as usual.  It was real hot on Saturday and a little cooler on Sunday.  Quick trip but always good to get together.

Fourth of July

I am playing a little catch up here since I am behind on my posts.

Meaggie got here on Tuesday the 1st and was here a week.  I miss her already but I am thankful for Skype.  The Bend 4th of July Pet Parade was again, too much fun.  We met Shane and the family downtown and spent the rest of the afternoon at Mirror Pond.  Sunday, we had a BBQ here.  Monday was a down day to play catch up. 

It has been hot here; in the upper 90's.  We have had lightning strikes all over the tri-counties  and into Eastern Oregon.  There are fires all over.  Hopefully, the temp will be dropping as we move into the weekend.  We are heading for our annual Maupin trip on Friday and will return on Sunday.  It should be a cook pot there but easier to jump in and cool off.  Maupin pix to follow.....
