Today was a special Birthday celebration.

Mom turned 80 along with Brittany who turned 28.  Super fun BBQ at John and Deb's and the weather was perfect.

Deb-your yard looks gorgeous and your pergola is such a beauty with all your flowers.

All done painting and trimming except for the living room "wall of windows".  Once we are in the right frame of mind, we will mask off all 12 of the suckers, Dennis will spray and I will trim them out the next day. 

Denny did a super job on the south peak of our house.  It looks so fresh and pretty. 

This is the east peak; which is next on the to do list.  The shakes need to be stained first.

From humm drumm to Wowzers!

We are done with painting with the exception of the front wall of windows.  Dennis is nearly done with the south side of the shingles in the peak.  The color was such a change and I think both of us were second guessing what we had done.  But..........it is sooooooooooooo pretty.  Everything is nearly back together again and it just looks so good.

Mother's Day Sunday...

What a lovely day we had today.  Denny did his ribs, everyone brought a side dish or desert and we got to sit outside the whole time.  A little breezy but it was very tolerated.  Flowering hanging baskets, lavender plants and garden gloves.

Luvs to my mom, Janet, sister Deb, Niece Brittany, sister in-law Debe and Diane for being in that role of mom.

House Prep and Sunriver camping.....

A few pictures.....................  We are getting ready to paint our house and going with a different color.  Huge change.  Body will be this soft green and the trim will be the tan that matches the barn trim.

Dennis got the house power washed and everything off the house and off the porch.  We are hoping to get phase one done this coming week.

Left Thursday for Thousand Trails Sunriver just to get out of Dodge.  Good weekend and both Lilly and Jack were good boys and girls.
