Fathers Day June 18. 2017

We had a mom and dad over for some tacos, pie and games of Corn Hole.  Weather was perfect and Denny and I got in some practice before our trip.

It has been nice here but the temps have dropped considerably; from the 80's to the mid 60's.  That is Central Oregon for you.

I just bought a new Ivory chinelle bedspread for our room and two shams.  It so reminds me of when I was a young person.  Mom had a few of these and one was pink.

We have had our Grandfather clock for nearly 30 years and when it needs maintenance, it just stops.  Maintenance guy came out this morning and we are up and running again.  Funny....when it's running, I can't hear it but when it's not, I miss it.  ???

We celebrated mom and Britt's birthday's over at John and Deb's.  John BBQ'd dogs and burgers.  And the weather was lovely~~~

John Day-May 25th thru May 30th

First trip over to John Day this year.  Trip over was so pretty.  Everything is green and the rivers and creeks are full and overflowing.

We rented a brush hog and Denny mowed and knocked down the tall grass.  It always looks so much better.

Saturday, we went to Sumpter for the Flea Market.  It had been some years since we had been.  The weather was perfect and there were new vendors and new stuff.
