April 30th- Finally....some color

We just got back from a visit to Gordi and Deanne's.  It was a long overdue trip.  Clem and Robin came up and joined us.  Good weekend.

My pond is up and running and yard is looking hopeful.  All irrigation is on.

Nice to see green grass and various colors of survival!

Thousand Trails-Sunriver Shake Down trip April 20-23rd

John and Deb-Brad and Ruth and us.  Trip to Sunriver for the weekend.  Weather was perfect and all of us had a few things on our "to do" list for when we got home.

All of us found some treasures and went home with super deals from either the Sunriver Thrift Store or the yard sale.

Projects nearing an end.

Devin finished her chair yesterday and it turned out so good.  What a nice change from the boring brown.

The dresser for Daxtyn is all done.  Found the right knobs on Ebay.  As soon as they arrive, on they go and we are ready for delivery!

She gave it two coats and sanded all the edges.

Stained the top only.  Looks Great!

It's April...a few projects underway April 7th-

Devin is giving a chair of her's a makeover.  Sanding it down and painting it an off white.  She has some other finish ideas.


I found a thrift store dresser that I just got done sanding off all the paint.  This will be for Daxtyn.  The top will be stained and the rest a creamy white.  Looking for the inexpensive knobs.
