December 19th…Sunday.

We got some snow a few days ago and it stayed for the most part because it was cold. Hard to believe this month is over half done. My Christmas hs been up since the first week in December I love the lights, smells and the sparkle. And the most important, it is the month of our Savior's birth. What a celebration.

New Iron Chandelier Restore Find **

Denny and I were just snooping at the Bend Restore and found this very cool light fixture. I love it. Was not an easy job but it looks awsome. The one we took down will go up in the stairs.

December First…..The month of our Saviors Birth|

A few days late but I am all decorated. Love this time of the year.

Mom and dad… update. The Move.

Dad's health seemed to have declined rapidly since August - September. We all thought dad could hold it together but his blank stares, hallucinations and just running out of steam had both Deb and I thinking he was the one to be more worried about. That all changed. After Rod and Debe left back to Panama, we all decided that mom and dad cannot take care of themselves. It was decided that they will be moving into John and Deb's apartment; which we all are grateful for. And, get the help that they need. Deb and John survived seven weeks of having them live there. Extremely hard and trying. I'll spare the details. Rod flew back and between he, Dennis and I (and John too) we got mom and dad moved. And we have Pat. She is wonderful and we are grateful for her. They have been in the apartment about a week now and it looks great an I believe they are settling in. They have been troupers; especially mom. EZ PZ. Dad has not been easy and as for his behavior....we are all baffled.. Things are better with Pat helping. Deb and I are feeling that things will get better as we go along. These past eight weeks have been so difficult for mostly Deb and John. Rod was here for most of November and left on December 4th. Him being here was a huge help with the move. We all did alot and got what needed to be done. We will be renting out mom and dad's house and starting January, we will be doing some needed upgrades. February first is the target. All in all, we have had to endure such changes and so quickly. I honestly think mom is thriving and hopefully, dad will follow. It has been huge changes for them both. We will all get through this.

December 15th....After an all day, lengthy testing brain scan for Dad on the 9th, we met with Dr Bell with results.  Dad has louie body dementia. That is all we know because Bell did not explain anything.  What stage, what to expect.  He is on a anti seizure medicine (Kepra)  The above three things have gone away; which is great.  Now we are having to deal with his behavior.  Mom is great.  They both are eating well....three  meals, they are warm and comfortable.  And their new pad is awesome.

Four days into...Pat quit.  She could not deal with dad.  We are on the search still for more help.

November

November seemed to come and gone. I turned 64 and we had Thansgiving Dinner here with Brad, Ruth, the boys, Devin, Brooks and Mason and Leann. Wonderful dinner. The Traeger did a super job on the turkey. No pictures :( Mom, dad and Rod stayed back and Rod made a dinner for the three of them. It has been a frustrating, disapointment with the un vaxed peoples. Mom and dad, being in the category that they are, cannot be allowed around the un vacinanted. It has been frustrating to those that are making the rules.

Indiana Trip. October 13th thru October 22nd. Sidney and Alec wedding

Our trip back to Indiana went very well.  Probably overstayed our welcome but we were able to see everyone and I think took everyone we could out for lunch or dinner.
