First week of October…..

We have had some rain; which is welcomed.  I believe all the fires are out thankfully.

End of summer stuff hanging on for dear life.

Salsa in the making

The pressure cooker on the left in mom and dads.  It has a gauge so it warns you if it is going to blow up.

It is October…..

So far behind on my postings.  Let’s see if I can summarize.

End of July….When we got back from our two week trip, we actually came back a few days early.  Meagan and Ryan were here and made a trip to the Oregon Coast.  Once they came back, we ended up being able to spend some days with them and Devin joined us.  We went on the Bachelor lift; which was quite fun.  I still cannot believe we had never done that and all the years that we have been here.

August 4th-   44 years for us!

August 23rd - 30th-  Devin and her team got drawn to run Portland to Coast.  We were in Seaside for a week.  Had perfect weather and their team did great!

Our RV has been showing problems on our big slide.  Jerking coming out and in.  They say it is the boots and they are worn out.  Wanting to replace with rollers.  Makes since …it is a BIG heavy slide.

It has still been pretty warm.  Scheduled a photo shoot with Rebecca on the 8th.  Everything went well but heat caused something and I was a goner.  When I got the pictures back I was so taken back at how sad and beat up I looked.  It was a wake up call.  These past two years plus have been such a strain; especially for Deb and I.  We have understanding husbands also but these pictures showed so much sorrow and unhappiness  Asked Rebecca to come back out; which she did.  Much better this time around.

In between beach trips, we has gravel delivered and dumped in front of Denny’s shop and up to the RV.  We are done with that.

RV got dropped at Garner and explained we needed it back for our Newport/Whalers Rest beach trip.  Long story short, we did not get it back.  Poor communication.  Trip was canceled.  Deb and John both ended up getting sick.  John’s brother and sister in law was joining us.  Trip ended up such a disappointment.  Maybe we were not supposed to go.

We made a few day trips to John Day.  Our septic got approved for a standard system.  What a relief.  Starting plans with Steve Wilson.  Going forward.

Dennis found a truck.  2022 F350 Ford Super Duty; Lariat.  Super nice..like new.  Big price but we are both sleeping at night.

Asher turned two and it was nice to get together…..Seems like we are all going six different directions.
