Prior to Yellowstone, I made a short trip to visit Meagan and Ryan. Went on a hike that was quite a bit and I failed quite a bit going up. Could not get my air. Aside from being out of shape, the elevation was at 10,200 and I was feeling it. Good thing was I made it. I was so proud of myself. Thought they were going to have to leave me. On the way down, another lady was sitting on the trail and having a worst time than I. I gave her encouragement. I wonder if she made it.
We bought tickets to see The Mavericks and Dwight Yoakum. Exciting. Spendy....$200 was crap fees but we have reserved seating pretty close to the stage.
Our trip went great. Deb is not a traveler and was kind of getting on our nerves; including John's. She just does not do well and I don't think it motion sickness. Once we got Cody, she had to chill out and unwind for two days. Made it to the park twice. No moose. Bison, cow elk, one bear. And the scenery. You can't beat that. Lot's of people. We were in the park early... like 8:00....Come latter morning, here come the people. Wonderful time but Denny and I have no desire to go back.
We visited two (2) zoo's; which were both very good. Yellowstone Bear Sanctuary. Brown, black and grizzly bears AND babies. Two bull elk and some bison. Very nice. The other had a lion, camels and some other wildlife.
