Wednesday/May 13th

We are staying in Cheyenne, WY at Terry Bison's RV Park.  Not exactly what we were expecting but we will stay the night here and take off in the morning.  We will make it well into Nebraska; which we would like to spend two nights in a row.  We had rain from Rawlins to Cheyenne where they had a big rain storm that took out alot of their services out like phone. Just one picture today. 

Sunday, May 10th.. beginning of our trip....

We started out Sunday  morning and got into Caldwell, ID in the later after.  Meagan came over from Boise and we had dinner and she spent the night.  We got kind of a rough start the next day.  No 12 volts...system would not switch over.  That means, when we travel, no refer or lights.  And, we could not stay totally self contained without the generator.  Anyway, we are living without it for right now.  Tuesday, we went in and out of Utah and right now, we are in Rawlins, WY.  Tomorrow, we are planning on going to Cheyenne, WY and staying a few nights somewhere.  Nebraska is just next door.

Mother's Day...early

Since Denny and I are leaving this Friday for our big trip, we celebrated Mother's Day Sunday a week early.  Meagan was able to hitch a ride with Rik and Gil to Central Oregon and arrived on Thursday.  Our BBQ lunch was Sunday and it was a gorgeous day.  Thank you to all that cleaned up my kitchen afterwards while I was snoozing on the couch.  (still recovering from Bronchitis)  ..

New Building ...

Our metal building arrived on Tuesday and the crew finished and completed it on Friday.  The building is solid and just what we were looking for to house our RV, my horse trailer and the two utility trailers.  It really turned out lovely.  I could probably do a 20 meter circle easy inside it!

We have had good weather these past few days but it has been a struggle.  I think we are on the up swing.  Irrigation is on, fertilizer is down and geranium baskets are up.

Horse Show/Second of Three Series April 11th

My boy and I did pretty good today.  English was a new goal and we did not too  shabby.  We have other things to work on though.  All riders should have received a Gold star for surviving the wind, rain and hail.
