Septic Tank replacement April 10, 2021

Glad it is over.  Mack did a fabulous job.  The existing tank was full of holes (large) on the top and has likely been like that for over 20 years.  Fortunate that I and the lawn mower did not fall through over the years.

We are going to level and reseed, get the brick walk back to what it was like when I first laid it, level some more bricks and we are good.  Looking at turf next spring.  Depends on how much energy we have and with Dennis, it is not much.  Discovering that we run out of steam much sooner than later.

Gorgeous days here....windy today.

March..

March arrived and I have been doing some clean up and re-arranging in my yard.  Re-did the front of my potting shed..I like it better.

We have been working at mom and dad’s  and it looks so much better.  Their field is ready to plant, the ditch and pond have been burned.  All the tumbleweeds are gone.  Brooks and Devin took all the wood and I brought the twigs and crummy stuff home and Dennis burnt it.  Amazing how something so minor can make such a big difference.

New Sign!!!

Love this canvas sign.  I was hesitant ordering off a Facebook advertisement but I sure was impressed.

Happy Birthday to Devin Suzanne Wibel February 18th ....#38

Nearing the end of February ......

 Update and some pix.

We have gotten our snow; both down here and in the mountains.  It is looking promising to have Bachelor at a 120" base and the Cascades are so fresh and pretty.   WATER!!!

Both Dennis and I are waiting for our vaccines.  We were hoping to here something the end of this month but I should not be surprised that having the vaccine to administer has been a challenge all over.  Johnson and Johnson are close to getting their FDA approval.  It cannot come soon enough.  They are amping up on the vaccine and syringes ready to ship.

We have been outside as much as we can.  Dennis has done a few projects.  One was getting the Beatter a major tune up.  It runs like my sewing machine now.

Working on some sewing on the crummy days.  Some flannel pillow cases for us and just finished the baby blanket for Kyiah Lucille.  Alot of cuss words on this one.  I don't know why but the the fleece was being difficult and I wanted a pink, pre stitched ruffle but that did not work.  Ended up using a wide, silky bias tape.  The yarn ties did not work so I ended up just using regular thread.  I am happy with it.  Made a bunk bed cubby for Mason.  Devin sent me the idea.  Ties on to his bunkbed and has a slot for a book and two others for remotes.  It was heavy fabric; which is needed but the zig zagging was not good.  I think he will like it despite how my machine struggled.

Birthday's came and went......Brooks, Devin, Deb and Mason....a blur.  Devin had not been feeling very well and got tested.  Came back positive so we all were in quarantine.  She is back to work today.  Hopefully, we will be able to spend some time on Sunday for gifty exchange.

Valentines Day ****** February 14, 2021 ******

This last week, we have gotten well needed snow.  I think we have an easy foot on the ground and it is pretty cold...so it's not going anywhere soon.

Happy Valentines Day to my husband...He has been my Valentine for almost 43 years.

Here is some pix for your viewing entertainment.
