New Year's Eve Day...December 31, 2016

What a year we have had and how Blessed we are to have all those memories.

Meaggie was here for a week and she just makes me laugh.   Rod, Deb and Tyler were here for a week as well.  Tyler  got some sicky, nar pow snowboarding in at Bachelor with his three-day pass.  His buddy, Alex  drove up to board for two.   It was fun to watch the footage from their GoPro.

Rod and Denny took a few runs into town just to get out.  I took Debe to Iron Horse, Hobby Lobby and Farm Antiques.  She found a find and I found  a few; as always.   We were able to even go on a short horse ride. :)    Sure enjoyed having them!

We are so looking forward to 2017 and what it has in store for All of us.

Blessings to All......................

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Christmas Eve, after the 2:00 service, we headed over to mom and dad's for dinner.  Mom did a fabulous job and everything was so nice.

Christmas Day dinner was so nice.  We had a total of 25 people that filled our home.  Good family and friends and good food go together.  And Mack asked Diane to marry him.  She said yes!

What a great day.  Happy Birthday Jesus.

Started to snow again...

Devin was watching Poncho for a few days....

Big surprise.  Mack asking Diane to marry him!

She said yes!

December 15th- the aftermath

As promised, it started snowing early yesterday morning and did not stop until sometime late, late last night.  It just started stacking up....to the tune of a good foot and a half.    Sooooooo, this morning I needed to run into town to do a few errands.  Managed to get about 3/4 up our driveway, rolled backwards to get another running start  and got caught in the deep snow; really close to our fence.  Dennis chained up the quad and ended up pulling me out.  He bladed and cleaned up things so we are in a better way now.   No new snow in the forecast...just supposed to be cool through the weekend.

December 5th thru 11th-

Shortly after Christmas Tea on Friday, we started to get our snow.  After snowing for about three days straight, we ended up with seven or eight inches.  These past few days, the sun has been out and it has warmed up from the teens to the thirties.  Nights were in the single digits.    We are expected to get cooler days and more snow this week.  The woodstove has been cooking and doing it's job!
Farm table and benches all done

Denny just finished before we got our snow.

Grain on table is really pretty
