Lancaster, Bird in Hand, Intercourse..Hershey Chocolate World

First thing on the morning agenda:  Hershey Chocolate World

Second:   Amish country

We went to all three of these little towns.  They all have Amish communities and when we arrived in Intercourse, they were having their annual auction.  We hit that perfect!  It had been going on since yesterday and ended today.  I have never seen so much good stuff; I mean really good stuff!!!.  There were numerous tents and in every tent, there were at least one; maybe two auctions going on.  What fun to watch.  A carriage went for as low as $600 and the hanging baskets were going for as low as $3.  Where is our cash when we need it?  I did find some other good stuff so did not go home empty handed.

This part of the country is gorgeous with the lush green and rolling farms.  It rains ALOT here; worst than the Willamette Valley.  The people here are kind and have great homeowner pride.  Everything is tidy.
