Eagles Rogue....aka .....Tucker April 1, 1994 - April 4, 2022

I let me senior boy go today.  Found him when he was 8 and it is still hard to believe he has been with me for 20 years.

These past several months he has battled with his colic and several of those times I did not think he was going to pull through.  I believe his digestive system was failing and I don't think he felt good.  The look in his eyes gave me that courage to make this hard decision.

He was a good pony....very all around.  He was big and getting up under himself was alot of effort but he packed my butt everywhere.  Even a few parades. And he was Always on his aides.

His last few years, he loved to pack littles around; especially Greyson.  Tucker loved Grey and Grey loved Tucker.

You will be  missed my good boy.

2016

He was so careful

Green Lakes  2019 I think his eyes are shut!

March First.....

February......The Month of Love

Pictures have been sparse and I don't know why.  January is over and we are well into February.

Devin and Deb had their birthdays .....39 and 61 respectively.   We were able to go out for some dinner with Cliff/Gayle and John/Deb; Mandelines.  It was nice to get out with friends.

Mom and dad are doing OK.  Dad has been experiencing collapses; way more than usual.  When Brittany was on Tuesday, he collapsed and had three good seizures.  Paramedics were called and he has been in the hospital for nearly two weeks.  BP is off due to his Louie Body.  Something we did not know.  The whole healthcare system is a cartoon.  No one communicates.  We are hoping to get him into a rehab facility for some days so he can start trying to regain his leg strength.

January 2022. A New Year…..and. Hopefully some new adventures

Today is February 6th, Sunday.  The sun is out, the mountains are gorgeous and it is 55 degrees.  Feels like spring is trying but we all know that can’t happen.  Yet.  Bachelor has a base of 66 inches.  Not even close to what we need to take us into this fall.  Such confusion on what our weather patterns are doing.

Mom and dad are doing well; however dad get’s into his obsessions and it’s all over.  My sister is hanging on my a thread.  Brittany has started Wednesdays and Thursdays.  I’m on Monday’s and will take another to give relief.  Starting March, I believe, we have another gal that will be filling in for both Deb and I.  I am not so much needing it as my sister is.  Hopefully, there is some good adjustments coming down the pipe.

End of December 2021/Happy New Year

December has came and went.  One of the most important and favorite times of the year was a blur.

Due to COVID still, we were unable to be ALL together; which still is difficult for me.  My parents are separated from those that won't get vaxed and those that won't get vaxed, are by themselves.  Their choice but that is the way it is.

Meaggie arrived here on the 23rd and was here for two weeks.  She was going all the time and we loved having her.

We got snow for the month of December so we were able to have a White Christmas.  Bachelor and all of our mountains were getting pummeled; which is well needed for 2022.

Christmas Eve was over at Devin and Brooks' after church.    Had our little Christmas with Mason.  Christmas dinner was at Brad and Ruth's.  I was grateful I was not hosting anything this year.

Mom and dad are doing well on good days.  I feel they are really thriving.  I cannot image them when they were living on their own.  I think they were hiding alot from us.   Deb is the punching bag and her and dad have gone at it for various stupid things.  If I was in Deb's place being the main caregiver, it would be me.  As I am writing this, we have had quite a few good days in a row.  Both Deb and I are grateful.

Today is January 18th.  Bachelor has a good 70 inch base.  All of the mountains are gorgeous.  We are all hoping to get more snow fall.  The sun is out and it is just over 40 degrees.  Casino looks like a polar bear and my Tucker boy is hanging in there.  He does not look too awful bad for a 27 year old.  I am always watching him though.  Some days, I think he will go down having a tummy ache and he will just not get up again.  Then he bounces back.

COVID and the other two variances have been terrible.  The world can't get a hold of it.  My professional opinion is those that choose not to get vaxed is the reason  Stats show it's mostly the millennial brats that cannot think for themselves and find themselves in hospital with their family begging to use anything to save them.  Sound cold hearted?

Happy New Year.  Let us go into this new year with a better grip on everything with our Lord's help and watchful eye.  As he is watching down on us, I cannot help to feel embarrassed  on what he sees.
