It is official.  First day of Winter begins today and the days will gradually get a little longer.

December 10th-

Still no new snow at our level and we hit 41 degrees today.  They are calling for snow in the next few days.

A little bit of December..................

It has been cold; which is not fun to be out in. 

I have been all decorated since November 28th; which I think is an early record for me.  I love the smells, the lights and the quiet. 

Our new stove has been pumping along; keeping us warm.  We are not going through the wood like we did with our Fisher.  It was a monster but gulped up the wood like no tomorrow.

No new snow here for a few weeks.  Still white from the last time and it is only still here because we have been so cold.  The mountains look gorgeous and the air smells excellent..

Going to start my newsletter in the next few days.  A few more little things on the "to do" list.

Yes-December has arrived and I am already Christmas decorated!!!  I love my artificial tree.  After being in a tote for a year, it smells like a fresh noble fir...thanks to the stinky sticks you can buy.

As we enter into the month of our Lord's birth, let us all think of the true reason for the season.

Let us also think about those that have truly lost so much this year.

Wish true and sincere Peace to All.

Frozen in time

November-

I cannot believe I have been so tardy this month.

Brittany and Will got married November 17th-  A very nice, lovely wedding and she did all the decor. See pictures.

Thanksgiving came and went.  Dinner was at John and Deb's and they had actually, a pretty small crowd.  I think I counted around 15.  We never go hungry.   See pictures.

My 61st Birthday came and went.  Devin got me this lovely wreath made of scrolled scriptures on paper.  Meagan and I had a dinner date and went and saw Bohemium  Rapsody  Excellent movie about Freddie Mercury and Queen.  I will bet the actor that played him gets nominated for an Oscar.

The mountains are getting fresh snow and Bachelor managed to open with one lift.  It has been dry.  I believe they are calling for the snow levels to drop within our reach.

Denny's B-day is coming up the 3rd.  We are planning on going out to dinner.

I am all in Christmas decor!

Cannot believe October is here.  My favorite time of year with the color, lovely temps and crisp air.  I even was watering my lawn for awhile.  So dry!!!

But............I know what is coming  :(
