Arrived at Trailer Village Rv the 31st of May. Three nights here.
We were very lucky that it was very pleasant weather; meaning not HOT. Perfect for going to the Canyon; all view points and our Mule Ride along the south rim on the first.
The canyon is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and we are very lucky to have seen it. It is really hard to all take in. Pictures do not justify. One thing that we were not able to see was the clear bridge that extends out over the canyon and I believe it was on the other side; which we were not able to access. Other than that, it was absolutely gorgeous.
Our Mule Ride was the second. The mule that Denny rode was Charlotte and mine was Little Jed. We were in a group of 20 and our trail leader. Nose to tail along the south rim; two hour round trip. We got quite a few pictures and some video with my phone. I'll try posting those too.
Perfect weather and being able to see this was fantastic.
