Heiskel, Tenn to Lexington, Virginia

Arrived about 1:30 or so here at Lee Hi Campground in Lexington.  This is a combination RV campground, truck stop, fuel and grocery store.  There is also restrooms, showers and laundry.  It is a very busy place but our spot overlooks the truck stop itself and the whole area is green and grassy.  There is also an IHOP.

Tennessee and Virginia are a lot alike as far as landscape.  Very green and lush.  Lots of trees and ivy.  The people show homeowner pride everywhere we can see.  Most of them have very large yards and/or fields.  Everything is mowed and tidy.  Lovely farms with mostly cows in the fields  A lot of the fields have been mowed and there were many fields with rolled bales of what looked like feeder hay for the cattle.  We saw some fields that, I think, had corn coming up.

We are going into Lexington tomorrow and snoop around.  I saw antique signs and there is a horse center that is very close to where we are parked.

This was a cute one; hard to get going 65 mph

This ivy was THICK

Going to check this out

Denny just started shooting pictures of our camp
