Got a pretty good start this am. Left Slidell, LA; which is where we had been staying the last two nights. Nice RV park and nice people.
We were out of LA before you knew it and blew through Mississippi into Alabama. Landed in Fort Payne, AL and staying one night. Nice simple park. We are back to heat and humidity. Guess I must have had my head on backwards thinking we would be getting out of it as we trek North.
Nothing much here. We will pick up stakes tomorrow morning and be in Tennessee in no time. Looking for a nice place to stay two or three days. We are making good time and are ahead of schedule!!!
