Slidell, Louisiana

We arrived this afternoon at Slidell; which is where we are staying two nights.

The landscape and terrain is green and grassy.  Many trees and a lot of water.  Many refineries; ships and working trains.

Temps have been in the low 90's but the humidity has been very high.  It is like you are in a steam room.

Tomorrow, we are heading to New Orleans-The French Quarter.  Stay tuned......................

This looked like it was flooded but it is supposed to be that way

These freeways are above the water on cement

All over water; you can see water between the two freeways

It was like wetlands

Big refineries

Going over the Mississippi

Mississippi River

Nice RV Park in Slidell

Spanish Moss

See the gator???

He kept looking at us.  Not afraid of anything

Hello- 4-5 feet long; just a little guy

Side view-Turning around

Unfortunately, people don't listen and feed them.  Then they become a nuisance....

Going back to his lilly pads

She is sitting 9 eggs
