Tucson to El Paso, TX

Leaving Mission RV

Left Tucson early (7:00am) from Tucson.  We were staying at Prince Of Tucson RV Park in Tucson.  So glad to leave that pressure cooker!

Left Arizona state and entered New Mexico.  Scenery about the same except we saw more agriculture in New Mexico.  It looks like they have water.  Huge orchards (no sure of what), what looked like cabbage, hay and dairy farms.  Even saw a pivot; which we have not seen since we left Oregon.

El Paso is going through MAJOR freeway reno's.   On ramps, off ramps and you name it.  The city (population 665,568+) is pretty clean and tidy from I10.

We are staying the night at  Mission Trailer Park and RV    here in El Paso.   Such a deal at $25 per night with full hook ups!

As for our lovely Couger, we went over some pretty rough road (likely all the construction of I 10) and found a piece of trim that gave way.  Whoever put it up had their air gun too close.  Our back shade came off it's bracket and at the moment, we can't seem to put the damn thing back in its place.  Our air conditioning unit is far inadequate.  It is too small for even the living room.  We have been experiencing triple digits both in AZ and here in TX.  I don't think it's going to get any cooler as we trek across the rest of Texas.  Already discussing changing out the living room unit and putting in our bedroom and getting a far bigger unit to cool the rest of the trailer.  Missing our BigHorn  :(

They can have Arizona.....everything is brown; no color and everything looks toasted.  Texas, so far is the same way.

First moving train we have seen the whole trip

Nice rest stop

These qualify as boulders

Another moving train

Think this was cabbage

Miles of orchards; of what?  I don't know

Huge Dairy Farms
